WATER KOREA
March 18 (Wed) – 20 (Fri), 2026 BEXCO, Busan
WATER KOREA is the leading trade exhibition in South Korea dedicated to the water industry.
Since its launch in 2002, the event has been held annually, showcasing equipment and solutions related to water and wastewater, alongside a wide range of side events including seminars, conferences, and public programs.
Held every March in rotation between KINTEX (Goyang, Gyeonggi Province) and other regional cities, WATER KOREA has grown into a major gathering point for professionals across the domestic and international water sectors—earning its place as the premier water industry platform in Korea.
The exhibition first began in Daegu Metropolitan City in 2002, at a time when the concept of the "water industry" was not yet widely recognized. Rather than a consumer-oriented event (B2C), it was launched as a B2G(business-to-government) exhibition focused on water and wastewater equipment.
WATER KOREA was co-hosted from the beginning in collaboration with local governments that are members of the association, starting with Daegu. Over the years, it has expanded to include conferences, seminars, competitions, citizen participation programs, and networking opportunities for member institutions—firmly establishing itself as the definitive event for Korea’s water sector.
Originally touring across major metropolitan cities, the exhibition now alternates between KINTEX and regional venues every other year.
Until 2011, the event was held in November, but in consideration of the industry’s seasonal nature and to align with World Water Day (March 22), the schedule was permanently shifted to March starting in 2012.
WATER KOREA is open to everyone with an interest in the water industry. Visitors are welcome to explore the exhibition and participate in a wide range of programs, including seminars, conferences, and special events.
As Korea’s flagship event for the water sector, WATER KOREA attracts a diverse group of participants, including professionals from public and private sectors, researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders who take part in the exhibition, technical sessions, and networking events.
